Week 6: Transformation

Find the questions asked in the video here...

Please answer these following questions below to consolidate your practise. It will be easier to continue the practises in your own way once your experience is translated into your own words.

What did you discover from the shared thoughts of the 2 different mindsets? (1. the habit and 2. the opposite perspective) What else did you discover about yourself? How can this practise benefit you going forward?

Keep exercising 1: Observe and sense

Bad habits provide some type of benefit in your life, it's difficult to simply eliminate them (just stop doing it rarely works) Instead, you can replace a bad habit with a new habit that provides a similar benefit. For example every time you want a cigarette, take a sultana. You simply replace your action with another action.

Step 1: Use your body's tendencies to become more aware of habits that aren't serving you.

Step 2: When you are triggered,... be thankful (not easy). Dig to the root of the trigger through embodiment and polarise the trigger physically just like we've done in the exercise today. This will become easier and faster over time.

2: Daily check in moments Check in with your body and become more aware of your posture and energy flow.

3: Practise the pandiculation at least 4 times a week for about 7 minutes.

Working safe and aware: You will walk around and receive instructions via the video to enable you to participate and focus on the exercise. As you will be walking please consider to change your direction from time to time, especially when working in a small space to avoid dizziness. Please put your laptop on a table or even a bit higher on eye level; This will help you connect to the work more easily. Make sure you’re in a space where you can work privately and uninterrupted Have enough space to reach out freely in each direction without hitting anything No sharp corners, cords, loose objects or other trip hazards around Wear flexible clothing and avoid jewellery Leave your yoga mat or rug out this time, to enable yourself to walk around freely.
